CES 2023 venue will be 40% larger than previous event

The upcoming CES 2023, to be held January 5-8 next year in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, will feature a 40% larger venue, becoming the largest in-person gathering in the US since 2020, the event said the organizer Consumer Technology Association.


Hundreds of tech industry leaders will gather at the January convention to showcase the latest innovative technologies in digital health, mobility, metaverse and sustainability.

To invite more attendees, CES 2023 expanded the exhibit space by 40%, CTA said.


CTA expects the number of upcoming shows to reach 100,000, and about a third of them will be from countries other than the United States

The upcoming tech show will feature more than 750 cutting-edge companies and over 200 conference sessions hosted by global technology industry leaders.


According to CTA, approximately 1,300 multinational companies and startups, including Abbott, Amazon, AMD, Google, John Deer, Qualcomm, Roku, Sony, Stellantis and Verizon, have completed registration for CES 2023.


Korean conglomerates including Samsung, SK, LG and Lotte are also participating in the event.


The main topics of CES 2023 are automotive, digital health, Web 3.0 and the metaverse, sustainability and human security.


In the auto show, which will be the largest in CES history, more than 300 automakers in attendance will showcase technologies for self-driving, electric vehicles and personal mobility devices.


In the area of ​​digital health, many companies, including Abbott and Lotte Healthcare, will showcase devices and technologies that will contribute to global equity in public health.


Web 3.0 and the Metaverse will be showcased for the first time at the upcoming CES 2023. Companies such as Meta and SK will showcase how humans can revolutionize the way people work and play in an inclusive, decentralized and immersive virtual world such as the metaverse and the cryptocurrency space.


On sustainability, John Deer and emerging startups will show how innovative technologies can help save energy and increase power generation, address food shortages, build sustainable agricultural systems, respond to disasters , to build smart cities and to provide drinking water.


Finally, CES 2023 and the World Academy of Arts and Sciences (WAAS) will show how technologies play a crucial role in supporting United Nations efforts to advance human security for all.
