IGEL Ends Production of IGEL-Branded Hardware and Partners with Major Device Manufacturers to Expand Global Software Reach


IGEL partners with HP, Lenovo and LG to deliver its operating system for managed devices, enabling partners and customers to get more value from their investments in Microsoft, Citrix and VMware VDI, DaaS and SaaS solutions

SAN FRANCISCO, November 17, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — IGEL announced today that it is ending production of IGEL-branded hardware and is partnering with leading device manufacturers HP, Lenovo and LG, to provide its managed endpoint operating system for the place of modern work.

HP, Lenovo and LG are all members of IGEL loan, an extensive partner ecosystem comprising more than 120 software, hardware and peripheral solution providers validated for integration with IGEL OS. IGEL Ready gives technology partners the ability to reach over three million devices powered by IGEL OS, over 17,000 IGEL customers, and thousands of resellers who service a variety of use cases and end-user environments . Integrated terminals of HP, Lenovoand LG, which are certified and supported by IGEL OS are featured on dedicated pages demonstrating the transition that partners and customers can make in delivering IGEL OS through these partners. A limited amount of IGEL-branded gear is still available through authorized distributors and resellers with promotional programs running through the first quarter of 2023 or while supplies last. IGEL will continue to support its five-year warranty for new and previously purchased hardware systems.
