No suspicious device found in Sam’s Club bomb threat investigation in South Sacramento – CBS Sacramento


SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Authorities investigating a bomb threat at Sam’s Club in South Sacramento say no suspicious device was found and a search is underway for the person who delivered a note. to an employee saying there was a bomb in the store.

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said a call for law enforcement was received around 5:18 p.m. by a store employee. Investigators searched the interior and exterior of the building.

A description of who delivered the note to the employee has yet to be released.

Sniffer dogs were called to the scene to help determine if the threat was credible.

Sam’s Club is located on Power Inn Road, just off the Calvine Road exit from Highway 99.
