PHOENIXVILLE, Pa.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–SEH Computertechnik introduces the utnserver ProMAX, a new USB device server featuring modern consumer electronics design and comprehensive technical innovations.
The utnserver ProMAX includes advanced power management capabilities. Four USB 3.2 Gen1 ports (one USB C and three USB A) can be enabled or disabled to save power and also to reduce security risks. Users can also make available up to 12 USB ports by using the ProMAX utnserver with a USB hub.
The ProMAX utnserver works seamlessly with external hard drives or dongles, card readers, barcode scanners and digital measuring tools. Its isochronous mode also allows the use of network camera systems with stable bidirectional data transmission.
Additionally, the Device Server has a data transfer rate of up to 192MB/s (read) and 126MB/s (write), making backup systems that require high throughput, such as drives RDX, available to remote workers over the network.

Additionally, utnserver ProMAX’s monitoring and logging features automatically document all operations performed on the device’s server or perform time-controlled documentation, including time and date information. Data is stored on the device and can be automatically transferred to a syslog-ng or WebDAV server.
“This is where utnserver ProMAX really delivers. Data backups can be restored via the SuperSpeed USB port, so ransomware attempts with encrypted ‘inventory data’ remain ineffective.” Majewski explains.
